SUNY Orange to offer certification and credentialing courses in the spring

SUNY Orange announced will offer certification and credentialing courses in the spring semester that includes studies in health care, manufacturing, commercial driving and fiber optics.

Courses will be available in: Clinical Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Billing and Coding Specialist, Certified Pharmacy Technician, Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), CDL Training: Class A & B Truck Driver, Manufacturing Machine Operator (HAAS), Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC-T), Certified Fiber Optic Technician and Family Development Credential Program. Additionally, the college will continue to offer its High School Equivalency (GED) and English as a Second Language (ESL) programs.

Most of the courses begin in March and range from four to 15 weeks in length. The fiber optic course is an intensive one-week (six days) program while CASAC is 12 months in length.
